How I Healed My Body With Celery Juice

When it comes to healing, I follow a holistic approach focusing on the body, mind and soul. And the foods we consume play a huge role in our healing. I wanted to dedicate a full blog post to celery juice because this incredible plant medicine has truly transformed my health. I used to struggle with my digestive system ever since I was a child. I had issues with my skin and I used to get really painful ulcers in my mouth at least once or twice a month. My relationship with food was terrible. I hated eating because it caused so much pain in my body every time and it didn’t really matter what I ate. There was so much inflammation in my body that caused bloating and stomach aches. If you’re struggling with similar symptoms, just know that you can heal yourself. Ever since I started following the Medical Medium protocols, I haven’t had any health issues.

So today I wanted to share my experience with celery juice and what I was able to heal with it in only 6 months. For reference, I did 6 days of the mono cleanse and 5 rounds of the 3:6:9 advanced liver cleanse and I cut out gluten, dairy, eggs, processed foods and everything causing symptoms from my diet. What symptoms did celery juice heal for me?

  • Bloating: I struggled a lot with bloating and it didn’t matter what I ate. My digestive system was inflamed and celery juice completely got rid of bloating for me.
  • Stomach aches: My stomach hurt almost every single day for years, I had forgotten what it felt like to not be in pain. Again, celery juice healed my stomach aches.
  • Oily skin/blackheads: I never had acne, but I did struggle with congested oily skin a lot. Celery juice helped to remove streptococcus bacteria from my body which were causing my skin issues. My skin is now clear, blackheads disappeared and I now have a healthy glow everyday.
  • Teeth stains: Luckily I never had any issues with my teeth. However, I found that celery juice helped to naturally whiten my teeth. It gets rid of bad bacteria in the mouth and I never have bad breath in the mornings.
  • Teeth grinding/jaw pain: These symptoms were caused by the Shingles virus for me and I’m happy to say that I don’t have any jaw pain anymore and I no longer grind my teeth during the night as celery juice lowered the viral and bacterial load in my body.

Celery Juice

Celery juice has to be consumed in a particular way to ensure you're getting its full healing benefits. This is how I prepare and consume this life changing medicine.

Equipment

  • 1 Juicer I recommend the Omega MM900
  • 1 High Speed Blender if you don't have a juicer

Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch celery organic

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash your celery using warm water and cut off the ends and leaves. You want to aim for at least 500ml of fresh celery juice. Drink immediately for best results.
  • If you don't have a juicer you can chop the celery and blend it in a high-speed blender until smooth. Strain well and drink immediately.

I’m on day 6 of the advanced 3:6:9 liver cleanse I’m on day 6 of the advanced 3:6:9 liver cleanse now and this is the last round of the cleanse I have to do! I did 5 in total and it’s been an absolutely incredible experience. My body feels so healthy, nourished and feathery light now. All my digestive and skin issues are gone! 🙌🏼

I thought I would share the recipe for this delicious liver rescue smoothie that is part of the cleanse (and the most delicious one in my opinion 😋):

Ingredients: (1 serving)
• 300g frozen wild blueberries
• 2 ripe bananas
• 2 tbsp powdered red pitaya

Directions:
Put all ingredients into a high speed blender until smooth and enjoy! 🫐

Ingredients: (2 servings)
• 250g rice pasta
• 5 small potatoes
• 1 medium carrot
•1 onion
• 10 garlic cloves
• 5 mini asparagus
• 200g cherry tomatoes
• 400g canned tomatoes
• Handful of rocket
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp thyme
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp Pasta Allrounder
• Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Cut and roast all the veggies including onion and garlic in the oven at 200 degrees celsius for 20 minutes. Cook your rice pasta and save 50ml of the pasta water. Blend the roasted tomatoes, garlic, canned tomatoes and spices in a high speed blender to create the most delicious tomato sauce. Add in the pasta water for creaminess. Mix the pasta, tomato sauce and the rest of the roasted veggies together. Serve up and add a handful of rocket to your roasted veggie pasta.

Easy, 3 ingredient pizza base and healing veggies Easy, 3 ingredient pizza base and healing veggies topping! 😋🍕

Ingredients: (1 serving)

For the pizza base:
170g white quinoa
220ml water
1 tsp salt

Toppings:
1/2 bell pepper
1/2 zucchini
4 small mushrooms
1 small onion
Handful rocket 
Tomato sauce (I used the one from the roasted veggie pasta recipe)
1 tsp @justspices Pasta Allrounder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 220C. Put quinoa, water and salt into a high speed blender until a smooth batter forms.

2. Pour the batter into a round baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Then take the pizza out of the tray, flip sides and bake for another 20 minutes on the other side.

3. In a pan, fry your cut veggies until they’re soft and add your spices.

4. Once the pizza base is done assemble your pizza with tomato sauce, fried veggies and rocket.

Ingredients: (1 serving)
80 g gluten-free oats
200 ml water or unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp maple syrup more to serve
1 red apple
1 ripe banana

Directions:
1. Put the oats, water, banana, cinnamon, maple syrup and baking soda into a high speed blender and blend until a smooth batter forms.

2. Pour the batter into an ovenproof baking dish. Cut one red apple into small chunks and put it on top. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 20-25 minutes.

3. Add more maple syrup before serving for extra sweetness. Enjoy! 😋

We all know the voice in our head that is telling us we are not good enough, don’t do enough and whatever other negative stories it’s telling us to be true. You have to start observing your thoughts and you’ll be shocked at the negativity that comes through. Make it a habit to consciously disagree with these thoughts. Because they are not true. This is how you can reprogram your mind and let go of the attachment you have to the thoughts generated from the ego/mind. You will start to realise that this negative inner voice and chatter was wrong all along.

Remember you are in control over your mind, not the other way around! ❤️

Ingredients: (1 serving)
80g gluten-free oats
200ml water or unsweetened almond milk
1 ripe banana
1 red apple
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp maple syrup

Directions:
Put the oats, water, banana, cinnamon, maple syrup & baking soda into a high speed blender. Cut the apple into small cubes. Pour the batter into an ovenproof dish and top with cubed apple. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 200C. Enjoy! 😋
