Preheat oven to 170°C.
Put bananas and maple syrup in a blender and blend until smooth. If you don’t have a blender you can use a fork to mash the banana.
In a separate bowl, add all dry ingredients and mix to combine.
Add the banana maple syrup mixture to the dry ingredients and combine into a thick batter.
Pour batter into a small oven safe dish lined with parchment paper. I used a small cake tin.
Bake in the oven for 70 minutes.
Allow the banana bread to cool completely before serving.
