It’s been a long time since I shared a haircare related post on my blog. But I recently got to try out new products from a brand that I have always been very curious about. Not only is Aveda an absolutely incredible haircare brand but they also set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility. Their products only contain the most organic ingredients while strongly believing that what we put on our bodies should be as healthy and natural as what we put into it. So today I want to share two haircare items that I don’t want to miss in my routine anymore. I have quite long but also very fine hair, so I’m always on the lookout for products that will leave my hair feeling and looking smooth and healthy. Read on to find out more about these two absolute miracle workers.
I’m actually not too picky when it comes to shampoo or conditioner. Most times, I will just use whatever I can find in the shower but leave in treatments or hair masks are the real deal for me. Luckily I have found two products that have made styling my hair so very easy and comfortable. The first product I want to talk about was actually a recommendation from my hair stylist. The Dry Remedy Moisturizing Masque is an intensive treatment to help moisturise and seal in hydration. I apply this mask once a week and leave it in for as long as I can before rinsing it out with warm water. I love how it leaves my hair feeling so soft, supple and shiny. The first product I instantly apply onto my hair when I come out of the shower is the Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair Leave-In-Treatment. I honestly can’t live without this miracle worker anymore, it’s a naturally derived leave-in treatment that visibly repairs and protects from heat styling while also reducing breakage. I usually apply a small amount of product and gently distribute it all over my hair before blow drying. I leaves my hair feeling so soft and frizz-free and it’s really easy to comb through with a hair brush. I also find that I have a lot less split ends since using this product after every hair wash which is around three times a week.
