I just love switching up my makeup routine for this time of year. It’s the season of sequins, sparkles and festivities! There are so many beautiful events to shine at and this makeup look will leave you feeling your best. I mean, at least that’s what it does for me! December offers the perfect opportunities to amp up your usual makeup routine with a festive red lip and golden eyes. So whether it’s work parties with your colleagues, Christmas Eve with the family or New Years Eve with your best friends, here’s my perfect Christmas makeup look. Read on to find out what products I used to achieve this christmassy makeup look.
Let’s get glowing!
Nothing screams Christmas more than a red lip, am I right? I wanted a look that was somewhat easy to create but still makes a Christmas statement. I know what makes me feel confident and a red lip never fails to take my look to the next level. I used an Illamasqua lipstick in the shade Midnight and it’s literally the perfect red. The lipstick lasted up to 8 hours on my lips without smudging, even after having a full meal and a couple of drinks.

Even though the weather is colder doesn’t mean you can’t look bronzed, so the base that makes me feel great is a light foundation with a brightening concealer, all made warmer with a splash of gold around the eyes. The Too Faced Hangover Primer helps my foundation to last all night long while also hydraing my skin. To finish the look off, I used a new Mascara from Ardell and I instantly fell in love with it. When I look to try a new mascara I always want one that not only lengthens the lashes but has a brush that will separate them evenly too. This one does both and I absolutely love it. It has a brush for your top and bottom lashes. Especially the bottom brush is petite enough to be able to safely coat your lashes without fear of smudging. And et voila – this is my new favoutite christmassy makeup look!
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
