I was incredibly excited when I received this box in the mail because I have been a Caudalie fan for as long as I remember, with their Beauty Elixir being one of the first skincare products I instantly fell in love with. Caudalie offer a wide range of amazing skincare and body products and this box contains six of their best-selling products that will cover all areas of your everyday skincare routine with the subject of Caudalie’s mixology in mind. Detox with Caudalie
Summer is in full swing, which is the perfect time to revive stressed and tired skin and get ready for the upcoming holiday season. This box offers a lovely mix of products to give your skin that perfect detox, leaving it fresh, even and glowing! To start off your skincare routine it is important to cleanse the skin and to remove all traces of makeup in order to prepare your skin for the next stage of your routine. The Caudalie Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil is formulated with a blend of 100% naturally derived plant oils that work to dissolve all types of makeup whilst removing impurities. Toning is another significant step for me especially in the summer time. Caudalie’s Grape Water facial mist is made with 100% organic grape water that works to tone, refresh and hydrate the skin. I absolutely love how facial sprays make my skin feel afterwards, it’s so calming and soothing. The first product to use after this step is the Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator which is just amazing. The formula works to cleanse and clarify the skin and uses natural micro-grains to gently buff away dead skin cells, revealing a clear and radiant complexion.
I give myself time to gently massage the product into my skin and let the ingredient work their magic before rinsing it all off with warm water. The next step is to use a face mask and the Caudalie Instant Detox Mask makes the perfect product for that. Your skin is exposed to many forms of free radical damage including pollution on a daily basis. This is why I think it is so important to give your skin a special treatment once a week to draw out impurities and toxins. Caudalie uses pink clay to detox the pores, leaving the skin looking fresh and even. To maintain the glow it is important to protect the skin with a serum and moisturiser. The Caudalie Glow Activating Serum is packed with antioxidants that help protect the skin whilst restoring a youthful glow. Followed by the Caudalie Vine Active 3-in-1 Moisturiser, a light cream which is also rich in antioxidants. I apply both, the serum and moisturiser, morning and evening to face and décolleté.
