There’s no doubt that spring is the season for bright and fresh looks. My current Spring makeup look is a lot fresher and more minimal than what I usually wear. Lightly defined brows, a dewy light coverage base and a warm healthy glow. I only depend on 6 products to achieve this makeup look: foundation, bronzer, brow pencil, highlighter, mascara and lipstick. In today’s post I want to focus on two products that are not only budget friendly, but have also become staples in my makeup routine.
Paradise Extatic Mascara
The Paradise Extatic Mascara might just be the best mascara from the high street that I have tried in a while. When I look to try a new mascara I’m always on the hunt for one that will open your eyes and keep your lashes separate and fluttery all day long. L’Oréal’s Paradise mascara promises to give intense volume, spectacular length and a feather soft feel. Which is basically all I could ever want from a mascara. This one does all of these things with ease without causing clumping – the brush is also petite enough to be able to safely coat your bottom lashes without smudging. Not only comes this mascara in the prettiest rose gold packaging, but it’s also way better than most high end ones I’ve used. Definite proof that a great mascara doesn’t have to cost the world, right?
The Nude Lip
The nude lip is one of my favourite lip styles for this season. It is simple, low-maintenance yet extremely chic and sophisticated. I have tried a lot of nude lip shades and the L’Oréal Color Riche Magnetic Stones Matte Lipstick in the shade 652 Stone has made its way straight into my everyday makeup bag. This is one of the most moisturising matte lipsticks I have used that hasn’t dried out my lips at all. The lipstick goes on smoothly with a great colour pay off and a creamy texture. The colour is such a beautiful pinkish nude that can be worn from day to evening. By the end of the day the colour still looks beautiful and my lips feel smooth and moisturised.
Have you tried any of these products before? I would love to know what your favourite L’Oréal products are in the comments.
