I recently got sent a package full of amazing Artdeco makeup and I’m really excited to write up a thoroughly beauty post on these products today. I have featured Artdeco a couple of times on my blog already so I was super excited to test these new products and play a little bit more with their makeup. How beautiful do all of those products look together? Such a stunning colour palette for the cold and wintery months.
I got sent three lip products, two Full Mat Lip Colors in the shades 30 Velvet Fig and 21 Plum Noir and a Soft Lip Liner in the shade 97 Plum Wine. My favourite being Plum Noir, the one I’m wearing in the picture below. It’s a super deep plum colour. I primarily applied the lip liner all over my lips before coating them with the lipstick. I adore the matte finish of those liquid lipsticks. They apply very smoothly and last all day. I also think that both shades compliment the duochrome-eyeshadows really well. 130 Pearly Chocolate Truffle is the eyeshadow I have applied all over my eyelid and I absolutely love this colour. It’s a deep brown with the most beautiful red and burnt copper shimmer. The pigmentation is incredible. 274 Violet Wisdom is just as the name suggests a very beautiful violet shade with silver shimmer peeking through.
The nail polishes are completely on point for this season. 904 Roayal Purple is a vibrant shimmery purple that would be great to wear for a night out.921 Glamorous Nude is that perfect nude with a subtle gold shimmer that will give your nails a beautiful sophisticated neutral finish. Both nail polishes have a brilliant glossy finish and fantastic opacity. They dry very quick and are super long lasting too.
The product I was most excited to try is the Roll It Disc Eyeliner. I had never tried, let alone seen an eyeliner like this before. At first I thought it would be quite tricky to work with an application wheel but you actually do get a very precise line along the roots of your lashes. I’m not the best at winged eyeliner so I just started applying the liner at the outer corner of the eye and extend the natural line of my bottom lash. You definitely need time to get used to it but I really liked the result.
What do you think of Artdeco makeup? Have you tried any of these products?
