I recently got contacted by the lovely team at Bioderma if I would like to test some of their products and since I’m a huge fan of the Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water I was very keen to try out more from their Hydrabio range. Bioderma splits up their ranges into three main skin types: Sensibio for sensitive skin, Hydrabio for dehydrated skin and Sebium for oily skin. I’ve tested these products over the past few days and I wanted to give you a little review because I’m seriously impressed with all of them.
The products from the Hydrabio range are designed to be lightweight and fast absorbing but also to put a lot of missing moisture back into the skin. I use this serum after toning with my Pixi Glow Tonic and before mositurising to give my skin extra moisture. The serum itself is a clear gel that soaks into the skin quite quickly and it reminds me a lot of the Hydraluron Moisture Booster that I’ve used before and absolutely loved. It has a pleasant scent and I find that my skin feels very hydrated and soft afterwards. I use about a pea size amount only in the mornings and this product seems to work perfectly for my skin and with my current skincare routine.
This one I was particularly excited to try because I hadn’t heard about it anywhere before. It’s essentially a hydrating primer that gives you the most beautiful glow. I used this a few times now right before applying my foundation and my complexion looked really fresh and healthy. It lightly conceals fine lines and enlarged pores and adds an instant radiance to the skin. The texture feels velvety and immediately leaves the skin smooth, plumped and radiant. I think this is an excellent base for makeup!
Hydrabio Micellar Water
As I’ve mentioned, I absolutely love Biodermas Micellar Cleansing Waters. I think that they’re without any doubt the best ones available on the market. I love using them to refresh my skin during the day or to remove my makeup in the evening. This one feels particularly nice on my skin because it doesn’t have any alcohol in it, so I know it will actually moisturise my skin instead of stripping more moisture. I just use it with a few cotton pads and it even removes waterproof mascara!
