Hey guys, I’m currently on holiday in France and I thought this would be the perfect time to share some of my travel essentials with you. Also, I know a lot of you are getting away this summer too so I figured I’d share my essentials and some useful tips about the stuff I like to bring with me. I hope you’re having an awesome summer!
equipment
As a blogger, I like to bring some of my blogging equipment with me whenever I travel just to get some work done when I’m away, so my Macbook is my number one essential! I have all my photo editing programmes as well as iMovie on this laptop – I’d usually pack my Canon 70D as well but it’s really heavy so I decided to bring my new Olympus Pen E-PL7 on this holiday instead – the perfect little camera for my travels. The image quality is amazing (I took almost all the photos in this post with my Olympus) and it also has a built in WiFi that lets you remotely control the camera, as well as transfer and edit photos on your phone. I also got this really handy little tripod just in case I want to film a video. So, when you’re bringing along your camera, phone, laptop etc. the last thing you want to do is forget your chargers. I keep all of the chargers for my electronics in a small makeup bag so I can make sure that I have everything in one place.

toiletries
Airplanes are literally bacteria festivals so I always bring a little hand sanitizer to disinfect my hands, phone etc. I also like to bring mini sized products like cleansers, shampoo, eye cream & moisturizer. Balea Makeup Wipes are my go-to ones when I’m traveling – they’re cheap and do the job. Balea also do some amazing face masks so I decided to get some for a little pamper evening. I got a Clarifying Mask, and a Hyaluronic Mask for eyes & lips (both were absolutely brilliant!)
makeup
When it comes to packing makeup – less is more. I usually just bring one little clear makeup bag filled with the beauty products I use everyday. Because let’s be real, as much as I’d love to bring everything from my makeup stash I won’t even use half of it, so only pack products that you need. For me, a good tinted moisturizer or light foundation works best when I’m on holiday – especially when it’s sunny, so I packed my BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Foundation (27€). Concealer is a must have (gotta hide those under eye circles) I brought my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (3€) with me – the shade I have is slightly too dark for my skin tone so I can only use it when I’m on holiday. I also love to pack little palettes like the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette (31€) – you basically get a bronzer, highlight and blush in one, so it’s definitely space saving in your makeup bag. I’d also recommend that your makeup products may be best coming with you in your carry-on as powders like blushes or eye shadows can shatter.
