Oh Clinique, you’ve done it again! The Clinique Cheek Pop blushers were one of my (and many others) biggest obsessions last year, so when I heard about their new additions to the Clinique Pop family I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some of their lipsticks. Now, this new range has 16 shades that are grouped into 4 different colour families. From nudes to bright pinks, there’s something for everyone!
I’m not gonna lie, I have tons of lipsticks (addict) from all different brands out there and nothing compares to these! I have two shades – Punch Pop and Sweet Pop but I really want to get more colours, especially Melon Pop looks stunning! Sweet Pop is a beautiful everyday pink it’s just so easy so slick on. Punch Pop is probably my favourite, it’s just such a chic and bright hot pink colour with blue undertones. Both lipsticks are very creamy and apply evenly and opaque. They don’t cling to dry patches and I also find that these lipsticks are quite hydrating, even after they dry down to a satin finish. (I have literally the driest lips out there, so trust me on this) There’s no specific scent or flavor to these lipsticks, which I actually really like, I’m not too keen on scented lipsticks.
I also love that these lipsticks are combined with a smoothing primer, it really helps filling in the fine lines and just like a hydrating primer would for your face, this one conditions and nourishes the lips, so that the pigment goes on better and smoother. They stay on the lips for about 6 hours without fading – I went out for dinner and it even survived my Paella! Now, they’re mega-moisturizing, comfortable to wear and offer a serious pop of colour!
