I went to Kiko the other day because I wanted to have a look at their Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks (6,50€) I’ve heard they make great dupes for the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eye shadows so, since I do love a good cream eyeshadow I thought I’d give them go. I love how easy they are to work with, you can just pop them on when you’re in a rush and blend beautifully in no time. I just can’t justify spending 30€ on the By Terry eyeshadow sticks, luckily there are amazing alternatives from the drugstore.
I got the shades 06 Golden Brown, a very pretty chocolate brown taupe shade with shimmer in it and 07 Golden Beige, super shimmery golden colour that really brightens up the eyes. The texture of those is very creamy but they also set quite quickly. I think I even prefer them over the Maybelline Colour Tattoos, they’re much more pigmented and you don’t have to apply them with your fingers. They’re super long lasting, I swatched pretty much every single shade in the store and I still had traces of the colour on my hand the next morning. (Not too sure if that’s a good thing though haha) Anyways, Bioderma will sort the problem out for me. Pigmentation wise, you get a really good payoff with one swipe but the colour gets „weaker“ once you start blending. So gradually building the colour up is key! They also make a really good primer for eyeshadow! I’m really impressed with those eyeshadow sticks and I’m definitely getting some more shades! I’ll use them in a „Drugstore Makeup“ Tutorial soon so you can see them in action!
I then picked up a few of their Infinity Eye Shadows (4,90€, currently 2,40€) – They were on sale for only 2,40 each! I had never tried Kiko eye shadows before but I absolutely love these! They’re crazy pigmented and super easy to blend. I picked up three Infinity eye shadows in the shades 210 Satin Brick, a gorgeous matte red-ish brown shade, 234 Pearly Wine, a very pigmented burgundy brown shade with a satin finish ( it also reminded me of MAC Cranberry) and lastly 266 Satin Turquoise, I can’t wait to wear this beautiful shade for a pop of colour! I also picked up an Infinity+ Eye Shadow, they’re very sparkly and just like the Infinity eye shadows very pigmented and opaque. I chose the shade 409 Ultramarine Blue. I can’t wait to use these eye shadows in tutorials, I’m very excited to play with these shades!
Have you tried Kiko eye shadows before? I must say, I’m very impressed with everything I bought. If you’re interested in trying their eye shadows I highly recommend getting them now for only 2,40! I hope you’re having a fantastic day!
