Personally, I love wearing just a tiny amount of makeup on a daily basis but sometimes I want my skin to look extra nice for special events or when I take pictures. Working with full coverage foundations also means prepping your skin correctly as you want your skin to look extra perfect. This is my routine for happy foundation skin.
I start, of course, with my favourite Benefit The Porefessional Primer (30€) – This primer is a must have product to achieve a flawless looking complexion with minimized pores. It keeps my foundation in place all day without getting shiny or greasy. Primers definitely do the most for your skin and it’s important to find a good one, especially if you’re thinking of working with full coverage foundations. No matter what your skin type is, there’s so many different primers out there on the market that will improve your overall complexion.
Now that we have a good base to work with, I then a apply my favourite full coverage foundation Makeup Forever HD Invisible Cover Foundation (47€) – One thing you’ll all be thrilled about is the amazing shade range Makeup Forever offers. You have 26 different shades to choose from so this will probably cover everyone’s needs. There’s nothing more important than finding the right shade for your skin tone! This foundation is perfectly suitable for oily skin, makes your skin flawless in only one coat and looks incredible in photos.
I follow up with a few dots of my favourite concealer – Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Light Beige (7€) to hide any redness or under eye circles. I like this concealer very much as it’s perfectly affordable and really does the job. It’s so easy to blend, covers the odd blemishes here and there and never looks heavy or unnatural.
Finally, I set everything with the Soap&Glory One Heck of a Blot Translucent Powder (15€) – this truly is my favourite powder and again, a Drugstore staple of mine. I use this very lightly over my t-zone to keep shine away.
