I have worn hardly any makeup this month because I had a lot of examinations going on and you don’t really need to wear makeup while studying right? However when I had to look presentable for dinner or something I just applied the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint in the shade linen to even out my skin tone or to hide any redness. I love this foundation so much it’s the first I’ve ever tried that actually manages to keep my skin matte the whole day through. Thanks Jouer you’re making life so much easier for me! To fill in my eyebrows I’ve been loving the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown. I love doing my eyebrows and the Anastasia dip brow is simply awesome! It’s so easy to work with, you don’t need to use much, and it blends nicely into your brows. There’s not much to add really. Skincare wise I’ve been loving my new holy grail primer, the Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner. I’m using this product everyday since I got it and I don’t think I’ll ever buy another primer in my entire life. That’s just how much I adore Bioderma! It helps my skin to stay matte throughout the day while leaving my skin super soft and velvety. You can read my review here. Another holy grail product this month has to be the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm! This lip balm managed to completely cure my very dry and chapped lips in a matter of days and I don’t want to live without it anymore! It’s got a very pleasant and fresh scent to it and it’s amazingly moisturizing without being sticky on the lips. It’s just soo nice to find products that actually work. Since I have combination skin my skin tends to be quite dry sometimes. Especially this month I felt like my standard moisturizer couldn’t keep my skin hydrated enough. That’s why I bought The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum Oil and seriously guys, this stuff is amazing! Since using this oil every night after cleansing my face I can skip my normal moisturizer in the evenings and just apply this wonder worker. The next morning, my skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated! I’m going to do a full review on this product soon.
Now that it’s finally spring I love wearing pastels on my nails. I’ve particularly been loving Fiji by Essie. Fiji is the most gorgeous and elegant light pink shade. It’s perfect for everyday wear and it looks flattering on most skin tones. I think it would look even more beautiful with a tan in summer! My favourite Youtuber this month has definitely been Evelina. Evelina is a makeup/fashion guru on YouTube and I’m 100% obsessed with her videos and blog. Shes even started her own accessory line with absolutely amazing and affordable jewelry! I’ve been obsessed with Pretty Little Liars this month and I’m so sad this season is over now. The spring finale was really exciting and I can’t wait for the 5th season to start! Besides Pretty Little Liars I’ve also been loving the new Vampire Diaries spin-off series the Originals! To be honest I like it even better than the Vampire Diaries. The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings aka the original vampires Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah. I don’t know what it is about this series but it’s so fascinating and exciting! I’m looking forward to watching another episode tonight!
