Foundation and Primer
I was looking for a good primer made specifically for oily or acne-prone skin. I did a lot of research but then I suddenly stumbled across the Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner. I adore this primer so much, it basically made my pores disappear in seconds and it’s also supposed to prevent blackheads! Another new holy grail product is the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint, I’m wearing the shade Linen. I have combination skin with a really REALLY oily T-zone and I can’t even tell you how annoying that is. These two products work amazing together and they help my skin to stay matte for at least 6 hours. I’ll do a full review on both products soon!
Concealer and Powder
The Collection 2000 Concealer is by far the best concealer to cover dark under-eye circles and little spots here and there. It works so well and provides great coverage whilst still looking natural. You definitely don’t need to use a lot so it will last for a very long time! Although I really like this concealer I’m super keen to try the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Have you tried this concealer yet? To set everything I’m using the Rimmel – Stay Matte Powder.
Blush and Bronzer
I really like contouring and bronzing my face with the Nars – Laguna Bronzer and then I usually apply a tiny bit cream blusher. I’m currently using NYX – Cream Blush in Natural. It’s a very pretty natural pink shade and gives you just the right amount of colour back into your face. NYX blushes are one of my favourite drugstore blushes, they’re affordable but yet so pigmented and pretty.
I have found THE BEST eyebrow product in the whole wide world and it is *drum roll* the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown. I used to hate doing my eyebrows, they just never looked right. I think eyebrows are so important they can literally change your entire face. It’s a really pigmented product so you’ll need a very light hand when applying this, but once you put it on your eyebrows they’ll look perfect!
Personally, I have used both the Naked and Naked2 Palettes equally but if I had to pick only one it would always be the original Naked palette. It contains so many amazing shades, each of them is very pigmented, blendable and just perfect for everyday use. My most used shades though are Buck; Naked; Half Baked; Toasted and Hustle.
Mascara and Eyeliner
I’ve watched/read so many amazing reviews about the Maybelline – The Falsies Mascara and I can absolutely join this hype. I really like how this mascara works on my lashes, there’s no flaking or smudging at all. My favourite eyeliner at the moment is the L’Oréal – Super Liner Perfect Slim.
You’ll always just find a single lip product in my makeup bag since I don’t like searching for ages in this bag to find the right lipstick shade I want to wear throughout the day. The one I’m currently using is Rebel by MAC.
I’ve been using Zoeva and Real Techniques brushes for months and months and I absolutely love everything about them! They’re such good quality, really soft and so affordable. Another thing I love about these brushes is how quickly they dry after washing them! My ‚most used‘ ones are the Zoeva – 142 Concealer Buffer; Zoeva – 227 Soft Definer; Zoeva – 234 Smoky Shader and Real Techniques – Setting Brush.
What are you keeping in your Makeup bags?
