In my opinion, this years Sunkissed Summer Collection is the best one yet from this gorgeous luxury makeup brand. This is the one makeup collection I always look forward to the most and this launch doesn’t disappoint. Read on to find out everything about some incredible new innovative products and old favourites and how I achieved the perfect sunkissed makeup look.
The new Limited Edition Bronzing Compact in the shade 001 sunset glow is definitely the star in this collection. Every year, the bronzing compact becomes a favourite for me, due to its warm but wearable tones and this year is no exception. This trio of matte bronzing shades can be used together, or individually, to give a warm and natural sunkissed glow. The powders are incredibly pigmented and look best when blended together and applied with a light hand.
The collection also includes a new Limited Edition shade of Highlighting Primer that captures the light for a sunkissed look. I got the shade 08 rosy gold pearls and I love mixing it with my foundation for a glowy complexion. With a colour correcting formula, this primer helps to improve the hold of my makeup throughout the day. The texture feels very cooling and super light on the skin while organic sea lily extract provides 24 hour moisturization.
twist to glow
You guys know I absolutely adore the unique products and formulas Clarins come up with each year and one of those innovative highlights is their new Twist to Glow. This 2-in-1 powder brightens up the eyes and cheeks. Available in three absolutely stunning shades. Illuminate the eyes & cheeks by twisting the tube for a tailor-made glow. The portable format makes it perfect for touch-ups on-the-go and I like that you can save some room in your makeup bag as it’s a 2-in-1 product. I used the shade 02 radiant pink and I’m obsessed with the beautiful colour payoff and illuminating glow it adds to my cheeks. This is a such beautiful everyday shade.
the makeup look
Another 2-in-1 favourite from this collection is the new Lip Twist Duo. With this pen, you’re just two steps away from the most gorgeous lips. One end has a tint-effect pen that stains the lips, similar to their Water Lip Stains which I have reviewed on my blog last year. The other end is a balm that perfects your colour and adds an incredible shine and sparkle. As you can see in the pictures, on the left I’m only wearing the tint and on the right, I’ve applied the balm on top. The difference is stunning isn’t it? The tint infuses your lips with a matte tattoo-effect colour and the balm finishes off the look perfectly with an irresistible shine. I used the shade 03 coral sunrise and I think it’s absolutely perfect for summer. The product feels very lightweight on the lips and last really well too. I was out with my friends having a meal and I found that I only needed a little touch-up afterwards.
What is your favourite product from this collection? Do you like the makeup look I’ve created using these products?
