L’Oréal are introducing the next generation of Steampod – The new Steampod 3.0 is supposed to be the next big thing when it comes to styling your hair. Why? It transforms your hair with the patented steam technology. It is 2x smoother & faster with 78% less damage than with your average styling tools. You can style any look you want with this tool – It literally only takes a few minutes to have a salon-worthy finish with Steampod 3.0. Read on to find out how I’ve achieved these easy waves.
Discover the Power of Steam!
The Steampod has three heat settings from 180° to 210° for fine to thick hair. I have very fine hair but a lot of it, so I usually go up to 210° to style my hair. To fill the watertank, you have to use demineralised water and you can style up to 192m of hair without having to refill the tank. One of my go-to hairstyles are these effortless waves and styling them with Steampod has never been easier, thanks to the new rotative cord. I always section and pre-comb my hair before using a styling tool. I placed a thin strand in the middle of the plates and wrapped it around the tool. I then rotated the tool while slowly gliding downwards. Let the waves cool off for a few minutes before either shaking or brushing them for a natural-looking result. I actually prefer shaking them out a little bit because I find that my curls last longer that way.
Along with the Steampod, L’Oréal have sent me two styling products to achieve the best results. The Steampod Smoothing Cream primes and protects the hair during the hair styling process for a long-lasting smooth feeling. My hair gets incredibly soft to the touch after applying a small amount of product to damp hair. There are two creams you can choose from. If you have fine or normal hair try the Steampod Milk. If you have thick or damaged hair try the Steampod Cream. The formula of the cream is very light and works wonders for my hair. The Steampod Protective Smoothing Serum is enriched with Apricot and Avocado oil and should be applied to freshly washed and dried lengths and ends. This serum helps to nourish the hair and adds a natural-looking shine to where your hair needs it most.
Have you tried the new SteamPod 3.0 yet? I’d love to hear what you think in the comments.
