dry skin rescue
You guys know that talking about the latest skincare trends and products on my blog is my favourite thing to do – that’s why I’m really excited to share my thoughts on a few products that I have been using over the past couple of weeks. Biotherm has been a skincare favourite of mine for a while now and they continue to amaze me with their luxurious skincare products. Read on to find out everything about the Biotherm Life Plankton range.
The Biotherm Life Plankton range aims to hydrate and soothe sensitive, dry skin. I have had my fair share of struggles with dehydrated skin, especially during Autumn and Winter and also due to stripping my skin by using the wrong products with too many harsh ingredients. If that sounds familiar to you, then this range might be the savior you’ve been waiting for. The first product I want to talk about is the Biotherm Life Plankton Elixir – a regenerating treatment that gives the skin all its power to repair the damages due to the daily oxidative stress and inflammatory. This serum shows visible results after only 8 days: My skin definitely feels a lot more supple and radiant after every use. I also love the lightweight texture of this serum. I usually apply a few drops in the palm of my hand then massage the face and neck until it’s completely absorbed. The next miracle worker in this range is the Biotherm Life Plankton Sensitive Balm. This hypoallergenic balm provides instant relief to dry skin and deeply nourishes to restore the skins protective barrier. I like that this balm is preserved in a protective airless jar, which makes it perfectly hygienic and safe to use everyday. To get the balm out of the jar, you have to press and slide as you would to unlock your phone. I usually apply a thin layer all over my face in the morning and it perfectly hydrates my skin throughout the entire day. The last step, is to apply a thin layer of the Biotherm Life Plankton Eye Cream. This eye cream enables your eye contour to look denser and firmer, fine lines appear diminished and it also helps to reduce puffiness and dark circles. I like how cooling this creamy gel texture feels on my skin and it instantly makes my eyes look more awake and brighter – especially in the mornings.
