Bonjour, mes amis! I’m back home from a beautiful week in France. I went to visit my family in Seillans and I took 100000 million photos so I wanted to share a few with you lovely lot! I’ve been going to the south of France my whole life so it definitely feels like a second home to me. (I think I’m actually going back in August yay) It’s just so nice to spend some quality time with my family.
Cannes is just an hour drive away from Seillans so we took a day trip to go shopping, get some delicious food and lay down on the beach. Cannes is one of my favourite cities ever from the beautiful architecture to the lovely wave washed sandy beaches, I love everything! We went to the Rue d’Antibes which is the main shopping street, of course, I had a quick stop at Sephora and bought the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette (31€) and the Makeup Forever Hydrating Primer (29€) I saw Jaclyn Hill using it in one of her tutorials and I instantly knew that I needed it too.
On a very, very hot Friday I decided to walk around Seillans to take some photos for this post! I probably shouldn’t have done that in the midday sun but oh well. Seillans is one of the most beautiful villages in the Provence, in every corner there’s something beautiful and unexpected to find. Gorgeous little restaurants, cafés and the people are so, so friendly and nice. In Seillans, the only shopping you have is the Provencal market on Wednesday mornings and a number of good quality arts & crafts shops and art galleries. I absolutely love the Potters Market where locals sell hand-crafted ceramic sculptures, dishes, teapots – when I’m moving out, I’m 100% buying all my dishes and bowls from this market!
What a view, huh? So after walking up and down the hill and taking photos of the beautiful side streets of Seillans I knew exactly where I wanted to head – the pool! I usually spend 95% of my time in the pool pretending to be a mermaid (or something like that)
I had such a lovely holiday with my family and I can’t wait to go back soon! Have you been to the South of France before? What’s your favourite country or city to travel to? I hope you liked this post and I’ll talk to you soon.
