My first plane was actually a 12-hour flight to Africa about 6 years ago and no I wasn’t prepared for a long-haul flight at all haha! Going on a Safari was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had, such an incredible adventure! I don’t have pictures of this exact holiday on my laptop but I’ll insert a few from last year when we went on Safari again at the Madikwe Game Reserve! If you’re interested in Safaris I have a little post about my experience (here) for you to check out!
Australia! This country as a whole is just absolutely stunning and it would be my absolute dream to visit Australia one day. Australia has such fascinating animals, breathtaking landscape and according to what I have heard pretty amazing city night-life and festivals! These are just a few of the many reasons why I want to visit Australia but I don’t want to bore you with an essay so moving on to the next question!
Yes and no. I love exploring new countries but there are a few places I will always go back to. Although I could never be one of those people who book the exact same holiday every year and stay at the same place.
Depending on where I’m going and if I want to travel through the country. When we were backpacking through Ireland (photos below) last summer we traveled from city to city and stayed in different hostels which was very practical for us, so great for backpackers. Other than that I much prefer staying in Hotels, just for the privacy and comfort.
Thailand, oh what I would give for a traditional Thai dinner right now.
On a long-haul flight I like to bring some face masks, preferably hydrating ones, it’s nice to have a little pamper session on the plane because you know, you have the time 😛 my laptop to watch some series and a good pair of noise cancelling headphones so I can sleep for a couple hours.
Well, I would never say never but I don’t see myself going to Siofok again in the near future. We went to Siofok and Budapest and there were spiders EVERYWHERE almost like an invasion. They were green and hairy and I don’t get along with spiders very well especially not the ones abseiling towards my head in every single restaurant haha. It’s a shame though Hungary is a really gorgeous country.
My phone, sunglasses and of course my camera!
Definitely planes. I get really bad motion sickness when traveling by car, driving the car myself could solve the problem but I have some sort of driving phobia, I literally get the worst stomach pain and I start crying for absolutely no reason at all. So weird, considering I’ve had my drivers license for over 3 years now and never had an accident. Not a huge fan of trains either after that horrid 14 hour journey from Germany to Hungary. Imagine an overcrowded train, 4 huge backpacks, 30°C and still 9 hours to go haha.
